Responsibilities

This position will be responsible mainly for back office operation such as trade affirmation, settlement and regulatory reporting for capital market activities (Forex, Money Market, OTC derivatives, fixed income securities) and loan operation.

Operational Risk/ Daily Production:

  • Ensure accurate processing of local currency settlement for capital market activities, financing activities, deposit & remittance operation and trade affirmation

Business Support & Efficiency:

  • Act as daily contact point for client, offshore Trade support unit and Back office teams
  • Report to Team Head of any irregularities or discrepancies
  • Liaise with Business Line and regional teams on offshore structure products registration and TDCC regulatory reporting
  • Explore opportunities to streamline the local processes to achieve efficiency.

Regulation & Compliance:

  • Ensure regulatory reports are prepared in an accurate and timely manner
  • Comply with all internal rules and guidelines, and local regulations
     

Profile required

Business related major

  • 2 - 3 years’ capital market back office operation experience in foreign banks
  • Good communication skill in both English and Chinese  
  • Can work overtime when needed
  • Detail-oriented and agile
  • Willing to learn new things and take challenge
