RISQ/OPE is in charge of the second line of defense, their missions are:

- Ensure the effectiveness of the operational risk management in the region
- Carry out second-level assessments through ie Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), incident reviews to identify or verify the risk profile of Asia
- Perform risk analysis on specific areas in the region 
- Monitor and reassess overall the remediation plans 
- Participate or be the validator of normative committees related to internal controls or key business processes
- Provide operational risk analysis for reports to Regional governance (ie Risk Management Committee) and the Regulators 
- Working closely with BU & SU on the operational risk topics.
- Spearhead the operational risk culture within the organization

Profile required

The candidate should have the following attributes:
- Bachelor degree or above in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline;
- Minimum 8 years relevant experience in banking/finance company;
- Detailed knowledge of various businesses, operations and regulatory requirements;
- Strong business acumen with good problem solving, and analytical skills; 
- Ability to raise questions and challenge on operational risk issues in a reasonable and effective manner

Department Description

Within the Risk Division, Operational Risk Department (RISQ/OPE) team is in charge of designing and implementing the Group risk management system, in conjunction with the Business Units (BU) and Service Units (SU). RISQ/OPE, as the second line of defense, is responsible for assessing operational risks and contributes to their management through its three principal duties: Standardizing, challenging and verifying operational risk management framework of the bank.

Risk Management & Supervision (RISQ/OPE/RMS) team is in charge of performing independent assessment of risk identification, review and challenge the efficiency of risk management framework implemented at BU and SU level.
