Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a new, growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently looking for an Operational Risk Specialist in Chief Control Office.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Collecting and reporting operational incidents and related action plans
  • Performing the RCSA exercise for SG Warsaw and presenting results
  • Preparing and organizing committees, e.g., Operational Risk Management, ICCC, and Regulatory Reporting
  • Administrating modules for procedures, agreements, regulatory reports, and committee’s registration
  • Monitoring permanent control execution and design/consultation of local Permanent Supervision controls
  • Controlling the quality and completeness of data used in the performance of assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and analyses concerning the supervised issues

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Economic university degree
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a position related to operational risk, internal audit, or control of operational processes

Language skills:

  • Fluency in English
  • Good command of Polish, French would be an asset

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Practical knowledge of risk solutions in the banking sector and supervisory regulations concerning operational risk
  • Experience in MS Office, especially on MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and negotiation skills with different types of stakeholders
  • Ability to organize one’s own work and a sense of proactivity
