MTR/QPM is in charge of transversal topics focusing on MARK perimeter. Its primary mandate consists of the following.

APTP Oversight/Production Supervision:

  • Be the point of (escalation) contact in SG Asia. 
  • Liaise with UK, Paris, Amer MTR/SEC and RPM/OVS on their scope of work.
  • In charge of IT and Ops incidents from APTP asia teams. Take part in post mortem and monitor action plans implementation. 
  • Manage Change requests from Asia stakeholders, liaise with APTP for pricing and prioritization.
  • Review the monthly/yearly volume and invoice on Asia APTP Scope (Mikado and Japan gloss contract).
  • Lead the APTP Governances for production and performance monitoring. 
  • Raise concern to both SG and APTP stakeholders when there is increase of operational risks related to APTP's process or turnover.
  • Oversight of GSC/RPM/RMO for offshored service from Asia.

Payment expertise:

  • Be part of the payment goverance and take the lead for Asia scope, contribute to understanding and mitigating the risks faced in asia. 
  • Develop knowledge on asia setup and understand the risk behind the various local / exogenous systems. Manage analysis and drive change/improvement on identified risky areas.
  • Be part of the securties governance to form up the norms and work on mitigation plans on Asia exceptions. Contribute to the production supervision model setup. Work with asia stakeholders on indicators generation and reporting.
  • Oversight of offshore (GSC) PMG team managing payment norms.
  • Be the expert of GBSU/MARK Sanaction & Embargo Asia. Connect with S&E stakeholders in Asia and Paris. Participate in procedures and GPS control setup, audit / IC reviews / S&E incidents investigation. Risk mitigate the local process.

MARK process review / Project management:

  • Manage requests on process review/improvements on MARK perimeter. Lead the topics and be the driver to fulfil the objectives set, improving the quality of controls.
  • Develop knowledge on both FIC and EQD products and value chain by working with GBSU/MARK teams to understand business drivers, concerns and offer support to mitigate risk.
  • Oversight of offshore (GSC) SMA managing management reporting.
  • Contribute and participate in Asia transformation/ strategic projects that largely impact our mandate (payment or aptp related),  taking stream lead or Project manager / Business Analyst roles. 
  • Connect with global project manager and asia stakeholders to understand the impact for asia, ensure asia readiness for project go live.

Profile required

Technical competencies:

  • Strong Technical & analytical skills

  • Strong process knowledge of payment and Sanction & Embargo.
  • Good expertise of Front to Back trade life cycle (including Risk & Accounting processes)
  • Strong knowledge of operational risk management on all value chain processes – trade capture, margining, booking controls, confirmation, settlement, payment, reconciliation, reg reporting etc…
  • Understanding of banking industry & of how change drives benefits for the organization, its customers and other stakeholders
  • Bring in addition value to the assigned new activity
