Responsibilities

1.    As a Junior Commodities Agency sales, assist the team in daily trade execution and operation.

This is applicable for 
•Perform trade execution on both listed derivatives products and OTC deals.
•    Monitor the Commercial Performance – Monitor the client activity (Trends on markets, products traded, products stopped, execution done with vs away, position transfer to/from other clearers..)
•    Expand Business intelligence: by knowing your business. Proactive approach is required to know your markets and understand the business environment, new product and offering, as well as changes affecting the industry. Perform commodities market studies and operational reporting.
•    Assist sales in new onboarding client process
•    Assist sales in preparing client pitches.
•    Assist sales on maintaining PNL management
•    Assist sales on KYC
•    Assist or participate in sales initiatives and ad-hoc projects


2.  As part of assisting sales team, also assist Client Account Management (CAM)
• Part of the CAM, the candidate must be an effective processor, with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and escalate client account management topics as required. The position involves close interaction with sales, and internal OPER team across different regions and various internal departments.
This is applicable for assisting CAM for : 
Observe the diligence to acquire an expertise of the Client’s business
•    Know your Client: key contacts, assets traded & activity, market access and platform used, post trade setup (accounts, operational processes, reporting, margining, funding..), client’s projects, regulatory framework.
•    Know your Firm: commercial conditions, legal documentation, risks limits, financing conditions, KYC status
•    Tackle recurring issues through deep dive to ensure root causes are identified and permanent resolutions effectively delivered where needed. Coordinate and drive across relevant experts to deliver permanent solutions to secure the service, avoid re-occurrence, and ultimately improve the client experience.
•    Handle Client operational changes (new needs, new reports..): gather precise requirements, engage with relevant teams (Client Facing Technology, Core operations, Legal…), oversight UAT to ensure delivery is in line with expectations, manage client through the change process

Profile required

-    Fresh graduate
-             Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering or relevant field preferred
-    Team player and able to multi-task
-    Relevant experience in financial or commodities industry will be looked upon favorably
-    Good Excel and Power point presentation, simple programming/macro data managing skills will be looked upon favorably
-             As this role will involve significant interaction with Chinese clients, fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is required
-    Organized and fast worker who can work under pressure.  Self starter who is able to work independently
-    Intuitive to customer needs, Aptitude for fostering positive relationships
-    Attentive to detail and organized
-    Problem-solving attitude
