Responsibilities

Société Générale Global Solution Center Poland is a new, growing area of the SG Warsaw Branch, and we are currently looking for a Procurement Manager who will manage the sourcing & procurement function for the Société Générale entities located in Poland.

The Sourcing & Procurement Manager will primarily contribute to the structuration of local procurement governance and lead with the business and the Group sourcing function, the definition of the IT services procurement strategy and the end-to-end process. This position offers an opportunity to lead and support sourcing activities, including RFPs, manage supplier relationships, and drive procurement strategies.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding of new suppliers
  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business objectives
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Securing contractual relations with the Group’s suppliers and ensuring up-to-date contract clauses
  • Monitoring and managing supplier performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm’s policies and procedures
  • Strengthening the expertise in the field of intervention by implementing category management strategies, defining the purchasing strategies, and ensuring control and optimization of the expenditures
  • Assisting with RFP processes, including drafting RFP documents, evaluating proposals, and supporting the business with supplier selection

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • Vast experience in sourcing and procurement of IT services preferably in the financial market
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with other departments, such as legal, finance and business stakeholders, to align procurement objectives with business and wider company goals
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and achieve consensus among diverse stakeholders
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze spend data, market analysis, identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
  • English and Polish fluency
