Responsibilities

Description of The Business Line or Department

The role will oversee the KH Optima Programme, part of the wider SG Private Banking Optima programme. The objective of the Optima programme is to deliver the outsourcing of the IT and Operations functions, processes and applications of the SG Private Banking functions of Kleinwort Hambros (KH), Monaco, Luxemburg and Switzerland.

The KH Optima Programme is sponsored by the Kleinwort Hambros COO.

Following the approval of the programme by the KH Boards, the role will be responsible for launching and assembling the programme and then ultimately delivering the KH Optima Programme in accordance with the agreed timeline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Leadership and direction to the KH Optima Programme and secure Kleinwort Hambros’ interests in the wider SGPB initiative
  • Manage the execution of the programme through key milestones
  • Manage the implementation of the target operating model of Kleinwort Hambros in line with what has been defined with the relevant managers and as per the strategic business plan
  • Ensure the programme is properly resourced and in line with the business plan assumptions
  • Supervise the financial reporting / management information of the programme (budget, forecast, cost management, programme operational efficiency...)
  • Assess the progress of the programme and to raise awareness of /escalate key risks to senior management of Kleinwort Hambros and/or SG group on any other potential failure of critical success factors impacting the BPO/ITO
  • Take reasonable steps to be fully understand and comply with all regulatory requirements from all regulatory bodies that are applicable to the outsourcing, and to monitor operational and regulatory risks related to the programme
  • Identify and manage as required adherence with any other projects (regulatory, but also business projects, both local and global perspectives) impacting KH in the UK, CI or Gibraltar
  • Supervise the budget and financial reporting / management information of the programme (budget, forecast, cost management, programme operational efficiency...)
  • Management of all key stakeholders including the KH Exco, SG Priv management and senior executive of Azqore and Alpha Consultancy
  • Perform all duties in accordance with the principles outlined in the Code of Conduct and relevant policies and procedures, to ensure adherence to a culture that treats clients fairly and focuses on the long-term sustainability of client relationships
  • Embody behavioural competency as per SG Leadership model
  • Manage the programme team and more generally business line/support functions staff dedicated to the programme (recruitment, training, objectives and appraisals, compensation and promotion...)
