Responsibilities

  • Interface with Wholesale DAT office and India DMO office for DQ strategy updates to standards, policy and procedures
  • Liaise with Data Domain Owners and consumers and escalate priority Data Quality Issues
  • Provide regular progress update to GBSU Data Quality leaders on assigned topics.
  • Support Data Domain Owners or Data Stewards in GBSU in all phases of data management program
  • Provide training on data project management topics to junior staffs (as necessary)
  • Perform data analysis using in-house tools
  • Liaise with Data producer, Consumer & sources for control movement to source
  • Register the DQ control details in the DQ repository
  • Liaise with DQ tooling for Data 360 & DQ Hub related requirements
  • Drive new data quality strategy and requirements as needed.
  • Run and analyze the results of DQ results to identify data quality issues and presents to end users.
  • Follow up on DQ anomalies remediation plans with application/teams and update stakeholders
  • Review, track KPI’s and communicate with the stakeholders and report on issues in a timely manner.
  • Identifies areas of improvement to achieve DQ standards.

Profile required

  • 8+ years of experience having primary experience in the field of project management and/or data management.
  • General understanding of data quality dimensions, knowledge of BCBS 239 requirements on data quality
  • Industry experience, relating to risk, reference, capital markets, operations, lending and/ or finance data
  • Awareness on Data Lineage & Data Dictionary would be a plus.
  • Strong analytical and database reporting skills
  • Organized, methodical and have strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues in a multi-tier environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Run experience in both large and small-scale projects on DQ initiatives is an advantage
  • Experience in working with transversal team, multi-cultural environment, and onshore-offshore model.
