Responsibilities


ABOUT THE TEAM:

The RMO/RESILIENCE is responsible for: 
•    Managing D1 Scope BIA’s for GBSU to be resilient
•    Act as Point of Contact for GBSU teams during Crisis to manage the same


ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Project Lead/Manager, Individual contributor Role, the resource will be responsible for:
-    Part of a team of Resilience management professionals who manages Business Continuity & resilience for the Org.
-    Develop, maintain, or implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies and solutions
-    Contributes to BCM team in managing Crisis
-    Engagement with BL BCM coordinator and other BL level stakeholders
-    Keeps assigned BL crisis ready with response plans and critical staff lists
-    Explore opportunities for automation in resilience space

RESPONSIBILITIES

-    100% D1 resilience for GSC/GBS. Risk acknowledgement for Non Resilient BIAs. Coordination for annual Resilience Test, site down test (Regulatory compliance) and surprise tests. Basically a SPOC for the BCM team for BCM activities. (ERT/CMT etc.)
-    Surprise tests – mode/time/numbers/strategy/coverage etc.
-    All RRMs/Regional meetings/GBS RRMs participation and updates on Resilience/BCM topics.
-    CMC – general coordination during crisis, cascade, communication, data collation, synthetic view provided for GSC/GBS and any coordination topics within the SPs . To continue post Covid.
o    Assist CMT members in assessing likely impact to their business line
o    Liase within Business line in collecting recovery requirements
o    Provides updates to CMT team members on business line specific requirements
-    L4 topics coordination/follow up/finalisation and closure.
-    Resilience database – automation, UBER book SP wise cuts etc. Dynamic feed to be made available to all the SPs on their stats/status etc. (Budget required)


SKILLS:

Technical Competencies: Candidate at this level should have the following core technical skills:
•    Solid understanding of Business Continuity Management (BCM) processes and best
•    practices
•    Solid knowledge on BCM lifecycle, Incident Management, Crisis Management, Disaster
•    Recovery domains
•    Hands on experience on BCM / Crisis Management/ communication tools
•    Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)

Behavioral Competencies: Candidate at this level should have the following behavioral skills:
•    Excellent Communication, presentation & negotiation skills
•    Need good Analytical & Problem-solving skills
•    Should be a good team player
•    Ability to handle pressure during crisis
•    Ability to complete projects assigned within the deadlines
•    Experience in conducting training/ awareness sessions
