Responsibilities

The Skill Up program sits within GTS COO team and has the objective to bring Skill & Culture transformation amongst GTS employees. Aligned to GTS 21-25 Business Strategy the Program aims at equipping GTS talent with right skills & competencies and building expertise through various initiatives like Strategic Workforce Planning, Upskilling/Reskilling, Expert Program etc.

About the Role:

The role requires leading talent initiatives in close coordination with key stakeholders. The person will play an integral role in building workforce for the future. The incumbent would be responsible for the following initiatives:

Reskilling & Upskilling the Workforce:  responsible for collaborating with key internal global stakeholders to co-create and execute upskilling strategy aligned to SWP. Develop & implement learning strategies /programs, implementing pilot initiatives and ensuring the sustainable roll-out of new programs. Oversee the creation of content, testing & evaluation process of online training platform, training related communication & related activities.

Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP): Planning & executing SWP, anticipating current & future workforce needs through hiring/ reskilling/mobility; Defining the process in collaboration Business Heads, HR teams & COO’s. Ensure the plan is followed & respected with robust governance in partnership with BL Champions & HR teams.

Expert Program: join the team managing global Expertise program; program to retain & mobilize highly technical experts. Responsible for the recruitment of new experts, presentation of the program and enrollment process. Manage the community, its vision, objectives through constant engagement & governance. Present program progress, challenges to sponsors and key stakeholders.

The role will play a critical role in defining and implementing strategic talent transformation initiatives and keeping key stakeholders informed on program progress and deliverables. The role also requires navigating through ambiguity and demonstrate a matured mindset to turn challenges into opportunities. This is a global role and the incumbent needs to ensure the program is run in same manner globally in all GTS locations.

Profile required

  • Collaborates with Key Stakeholders to drive Skill Up initiatives: Workforce training & upskilling, Strategic Workforce Planning & Expert Program
  • Reporting key metrices for governance, delivering value-added solutions that keep us compliant and on the right track
  • Leads team to execute on upskilling and reskilling strategy; Contributes to the Group’s upskilling and reskilling strategy and global priorities
  • Engaging with collaborators/employees to understand program feedback and improvise solutions
  • Presentation to Senior Leadership team on new program launches, status, challenges & outcome
  • Drive and manage expert community; Propose and implement various initiatives to drive expert community
  • Develops standardized processes to simplify the work of the team, automate wherever possible, ensure full program accountability
  • A thought partner to other Regions and Group in matters related to learning strategy, talent development, and measuring business impact.
  • New Ways of working by driving a culture of Innovation & empowerment
