Responsibilities

The Project Manager would support the Director of the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) department in the management and identification of transversal projects on the business perimeter. The Project Manager will also be responsible to lead and manage projects for the pillar when its BUs / entities lack resources or specific skills to design, deploy and manage Group wide projects (of any nature). Its main objectives will be to help the various pillar managers in their reflections on:
- propose new and more effective way to work in creating transversality, or in identifying reuse cases and potential efficiency gains in the pillars’ business, IT & Ops activities;
- decline Group wide projects for the pillar’s BUs / entities at their request or at business request
- design and monitor transversal projects involving several entities / BUs of the pillar when relevant
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically, you will be required to:
- Be the execution single point of entry for business and Group wide projects
- Support business and entities in declining the Group wide project to their own specificities.
- Design and run the execution of Group wide project when requested by the BUs / entities.
- Identify, structure and manage projects to exploit commercial, IT& OPS synergies within the pillar and more broadly with the Group;
- Support reflections on the operational efficiency of the pillar as a whole and identify possible areas of mutualisation or rationalisation within the entities via cross-functional solutions
Profile required
PROFILE REQUIRED
- Good knowledge of the banking domain, in particular the scope and businesses pillar
- Previous experience with DORA implementation is privileged;
- Analytical, challenge and synthesis skills;
- Strong project/program management skills;
- Economic, banking, financial and regulatory skills (especially on credit and Basel IV regulation), in order to have the ability to grasp the challenges of the businesses and projects in the scope in their market environments;
- Technical skills in financial, prudential and legal matters in order to be able to carry out detailed analyses of a situation or to identify areas of additional investigation that require the intervention of an expert;
- Ability to work in an international and multi-cultural environment;
- Ability to manage high-level contacts: analytical and synthesis skills, rigor, responsiveness, curiosity, etc. ;
- Ability to carry out the various missions in parallel in a context of strong internal and external pressures.
- Creativity, responsiveness and ability to manage complex projects;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong adaptability, Team work and capacity to create consensus and rally top level management to Group wide objectives.
- Possible international travel (potentially outside the EU).
