Responsibilities

● Contribute to the definition of the OS Patching process

● Define the quality KPIs of this process

● Monitor these KPIs and report on their progress (while proposing improvement plans)

● Manage incidents/changes/communication between all technical stakeholders composing the overall OS patching service

● Coordinate the various technical stakeholders for the security of the product (test plan... and its improvement

● Participate in the evolution of the OS patching product in terms of features

● Participate in the governance of OS patching and its improvement

● Facilitate / Participate in the adoption of these automatons by the various consumers

Profile required

As a Service Manager OS Patching, you support the various business lines in the adoption of the tools made available to ensure the update of the OS of their infrastructures to guarantee the good security of the IS and you will report on the quality of services and the availability of these tools while seeking to improve the user experience. In addition, you will participate in the implementation of effective governance to ensure frequent updates.

Indeed, RESG/GTS/IAS/SYS is the entity in charge of the management of Windows and Linux (OS) operating systems and is responsible in particular for the maintenance in operational conditions of these OSes. One of the important items of OS management is the ability/speed to update them to deal with the various vulnerabilities. In this context, we have built plCs to make these update sequences fast and efficient. The use of these automations is accompanied by a specific governance that allows a good organization of these updates minimizing the impacts for the applications.

Concretely, you will be required to:

● Contribute to the definition of the OS Patching process

What if it was you?

  • With a baccalaureate + 4/5 in computer science, you have at least 10 years' experience in the field of Infrastructure, ideally in a similar function. You know one or more infra professions (Administration Databases, system, networks, etc.)
  • You have a general varnish on all infra trades.
