Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management in Germany and Austria
    • Be in charge as a Key Account for the coverage of e-brokers and online banks in Germany/Austria.
  • Distribution of Flow-Products in the Secondary Market
    • Distribution of securitized derivatives (investment- and leveraged products) in the secondary market, traded on- and off exchange.
    • Maintain and establish new distribution agreements (trade sponsoring) with all relevant distributors (“Star Partners”).
    • Co-ordinate and arrange supporting Marketing and PR activities with the respective partners and the internal SG experts (Top Trader events, webinars, etc.).
    • Maintain and further develop the OTC Trading platform “LOX” in co-operation with Fintech Group.
  • Co-ordination with CFD, Cash Equity and ETF Sales (B2C)
    • Co-ordinate all sales activities with the respective B2C sales for CFDs, cash equities and ETFs
  • Project Support
    • Involve in and support projects to improve the efficiency of the clearing and settlement of on- and off-exchange transactions with the respective distributors together with GBSU/TSU and ATPT
    • Identify new business opportunities and design the operational and infrastructure set-up in order to efficiently and safely pursue such opportunities
    • Create and further improve market statistics with PD Business Development to optimize the coverage of the distributors.
    • Exchange with the Country Managers Public Distribution in other European markets in the area of e-broker and online banks coverage.
  • Quality of Animation in Germany/Austria
    • Develop close cooperation with the Head of Flow Trading and the respective trading desk heads for the ongoing optimization of the product and service offering in these markets together with PD-PM.
  • Relations with e-Brokers and Online Banks using OTC platforms during products life, including mistrade processes
    • Handle and coordinate the mistrade processes with the e-brokers and online banks in Germany
    • Track, manage and ensure swift resolution of settlement issues in coordination with GBSU/TSU team and APTP.
  • Client Complaint Management Germany
    • Support the PD Media/Hotline team in complaint management by analysing the complaints and drafting the complaint answers with Trading, and Compliance and Legal involvement
    • Ensure swift payment of client compensations in accordance with SG procedure

Profile Required

  • Very good Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration degree from a reputable University
  • Extensive and distinctive knowledge of all relevant German and Austrian e-brokers and online banks, including excellent contacts to their respective product managers in charge.
  • At least 5 years business experience as B2C Sales in Germany/Austria
  • Detailed and distinctive knowledge of all retail derivatives offered by SG
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Very good command and user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good user knowledge of Bloomberg / CapitalIQ / Datastream / Thomson / Reuters
  • Fluency  German and English is essential and fluency in any other European language would be beneficial
