Responsibilities

Role of Sanctions & Emabrgoes team is to ensure that an appropriate filtering system is deployed throughout the Societe Generale Group to filter the flows and repositories of all the entities of the Group. To ensure this task, the team is in regular contact with a very large number of internal and external stakeholders, such as regulators, internal audit or Sanctions & Embargoes correspondents within the entities.

The analyst works within the team to manage all such requests assigned by the Managers. His/her task is to follow up on requests, control them and share feedback /findings

Responsibilities:

The Quality Controller within the CPLE/FCC/EMB-framework:

-is responsible for reviewing and validating all optimization requests of the central platform and monitor their proper implementation.

-In coordination with FORCES & local compliance teams, monitors the optimization process.

   Additionally, he /she is responsible for reviewing and controlling  the setup of local screening framework, Identify potential misalignment with group standards and Agree on actions plans to remediate identified gaps

Profile required

  • A very good level of both written and oral English,
  • Knowledge of the SG group if possible,
  • Working knowledge on Fircosoft and other Sanctions related filters
  • Knowledge on Alert List Management, Filter Tuning, Good Guy creation
  • Very good interpersonal skills to be able to communicate sensitive and challenging topics with the Business Unit and the Service Unit Divisions.

To be acquired:

  • Knowledge of the different banking products and payment systems (SWIFT/SEPA)
  • Knowledge of the European, French and US regulatory framework for international embargoes and financial sanctions.
