Responsibilities

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities: 

  • You will conduct industry and company analysis as well as company valuations.
  • You will support in the preparation of client presentation materials.
  • You will assist in the preparation, origination and execution of M&A, ECM and other corporate finance transactions.
The VIE assignment in a nutshell:
 
This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin in September 2020 but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.


The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. Please see www.civiweb.com, in order to have more details regarding your financial indemnities.

Profile Required

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School in Economics, Management or Corporate Finance
Ideally you have past experience in Real Estate 
Prior internships in M&A or Equity Capital Markets in a Bank/Investment Bank/Boutique are desirable  
Numeracy & analytical skills are very important
Good knowledge in valuation is advantageous
You are proficient with MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Fluency in German and English (written and orally) are required


In terms of knowledge and experience, you will obtain expertise in: 

  • Insights in the M&A and Corporate Finance business of a leading European Bank
  • Improve your financial and valuation skills as well as your research skills
