Responsibilities
This is a fixed term 12-month contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis, with following responsibilities:
• Perform regulatory report production tasks in compliance with regulator’s requirements in terms of timeliness, completeness, and accuracy
• Control regulatory reporting quality according to regional standard
• Lead and perform process/report review of regulatory report production and propose remediation actions and follow up the implementation
• Pro-actively identify process improvement possibilities and propose recommendation for streamlining
Profile required
Academic Background
- Bachelor or master’s degree in finance, business, information technology or other related fields
Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how
- At least 10 years in banking or relevant industries. Regulatory reporting, finance, financial audit, project management experiences are preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of banking activities and product
- Deep experience of banking regulatory reporting
- Good mindset of risk control on regulatory report (accuracy, completeness, timeliness)
- Good mindset of continuous improvement (process improvement and automation)
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including oral, written and presentation skills
- Experience and knowledge of project management is preferred
- Fast learner and quick adapter to new environment/changes
- Strong teamwork spirit
Language Skills
- Good communication, interpersonal and coordination skills both in English and Chinese
Computer Skill
- Proficient computer skills in M/S Office, Outlook, etc

Department Description
Regulatory Reporting Production Team in SG Hong Kong is in charge of the production, oversight, investigation, and remediation as well as implementation of new regulatory requirements. Working as part of the team, you will be responsible for tasks related to the regulatory reporting production, turning data into knowledge to improve our day-to-day operations and accelerate the development of innovative data-driven solution of the regulatory reporting production for Asia Pacific regions.
