KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DELIVERABLES -
Daily/Weekly/Monthly activities: -
Ø Responsible for smooth functioning of SGIL deliverables across transversals within GSC
Ø Ensure the integrity of the General Ledger for SGIL and act as the first line of defense for Agency business involving Accounting functions.
Ø Strategic involvement with UK partners office for all accounting governance meetings across Product and General accounting from GSC
Ø Assisting Accounting & Finance teams for strong co-ordination transversally
Ø Need to build strong stake-holder relationships across GSC & London.
Ø Challenging existing processes and practices utilize metrics to influence efficiency and improvement efforts across the organization driving an environment of continuous improvement in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Ø Manage day to day activities of the team as well as perform production tasks as deemed necessary for Accounting processes
Ø Review and approve manual journals posted by the team and accounting certification performed by the team and follow-up any balance at risk requiring an action plan.
Ø Liaise with internal and external auditors for finalizing the statutory accounts and build strong controls
Ø Continue to align SGIL tasks to existing SG entities and move towards target architecture
Ø Ensure the contribution from GSC for all key projects on migration impacting SGIL finance function.
Ø Identify and propose solutions for business needs.
Ø Identify problems and develop resolutions to meet productivity and quality
Ø Promote an environment supporting a good “culture of compliance”
Ø Ensure Morse controls and GPS controls were signed off without any anomaly
Gain exposure to how the numbers impact the final NBI and regulatory reporting.
