Ihre aufgaben

  • You will further develop a dedicated portfolio of German subsidiaries of multi-national Corporates by leveraging existing business.
  • You will work directly with the Banker in charge of each global client relationship as well as the local coverage team.
  • You will establish new client relationships by using existing contacts throughout business and product lines and own origination efforts.
  • You will be responsible for defining and implementing the commercial strategy of the Bank towards these subsidiaries. As such, you will be accountable for the development of your client portfolio and its profitability by understanding and anticipating clients’ needs in co-operation with all relevant business lines.
  • You will, alongside the responsible Bankers, also retain responsibility for the monitoring of the risk on your portfolio in liaison with the credit department as well as ensuring that counterparties are properly internally rated in line with their credit profile. 
  • You will also have full involvement in all credit related topics around your portfolio of clients through regular management of files including more difficult cases (watch list, etc.) in line with SG policies. In this context you will ensure monitoring of potential regulatory risk, fraud risk, execution errors and possible commercial disputes with the clients or other parties. 
  • You will also be responsible for monitoring of operational and conduct risks across your portfolio of clients as well as ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in the management of the clients’ relationships.

Ihr profil

Experience & Technical skills:

  • Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in a client facing role
  • Successful track record of selling products and solutions to Corporates
  • Strong knowledge of the products, services and solutions offered by the Bank
  • Good credit and risk knowledge and sound knowledge of regulations; in addition, awareness of documentary and legal requirements
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Fluency in German and English, both, written and orally

We are looking for a Relationship Manager with strong capabilities in business development and client management. His or her focus will be on German subsidiaries of large strategic global client relationships. This encompasses both established and prospective clients. He/she will originate, co-ordinate and execute banking transactions. Thereby, the MNC Relationship Manager will work in close cooperation with Relationship Managers or Senior Bankers of relevant parent companies, business lines & other Société Générale entities.
