Sales Business Manager Assistant M/F - VIE Hong Kong

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities and missions will be:

  • Support Sales and Head of desks on daily requests and ad-hoc issues in order to ensure smooth operations of various Sales desks
  • Enforcing sales guidelines, providing training, support and advisory to Sales teams
  • Produce periodical and ad-hoc activity reports/presentations for senior management (Engineering and Sales)
  • Implementing relevant controls pertaining to Sales and Engineering activities, ensuring proper reporting to Senior Management and follow up on corrective plans
  • Interacting closely and permanently with various Support or Control functions to ensure proper alignment and cooperation with the business (e.g. IT, Operations, Risk, Legal and Compliance, Finance etc.)
  • Support the Sales BMOs on medium and long-term projects to address gaps in our organization, processes or systems
  • Simplify or automate recurring processes run by the BMO team 
  • Perform administrative tasks (maintain various mappings, referential, org charts, seating plan, etc.)

The VIE assignment in a nutshell  

 

This VIE in Hong Kong is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.

Profile Required

You are graduated with a Master degree from Engineering or Business School or University with a specialization in Finance, Business or similar

Ideally you have past experience in financial field

You are fluent in English and any Asian language is a plus

You are proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, powerpoint), VBA and Python


You have the following job Skills:

  • Able to work under pressure and deal with exposure to risk
  • Result oriented, determined and able to make dependent decision
  • Project Management is Important- Understand the basic concepts of project management and shows the ability to breakdown a problem in streams. Ability to deliver and understand the global picture
  • Regulatory environment is Important- Has knowledge of / is sensible to the regulatory landscape in the financial industry in Europe and/or Asia
  • Financial Products is Important-  Understanding and ability to explain financial instruments including basic derivatives (options etc)
