Summary of the key purposes of the role
Reporting to the local Head of Sales Facilitation or to the Country Head of Coverage where applicable, the Sales Facilitation Analyst supports sales forces in their commercial activities. They also act as a relay for SGSS Commercial departments in deploying transversal initiatives aimed at strengthening SGSS sales efficiency. Via frequent and relevant analysis, they shed light on commercial performance.
Summary of responsibilities
In detail, you are responsible for:
• Autonomously steering answers to Request For Proposals: in tandem with the sales person responsible for the answer and following instructions provided to you by Subject Matter Experts, you drive the process from opportunity identification to answer formalization, each RFP being to that extent a mini project:
o For each RFP, task encompass (i) internal players’ coordination, (ii) retro planning definition, (iii) direct answer to standard questions, (iv) final answer production, and (v) client presentations and due diligences preparation;
o You are also expected to contribute to continuous process improvement, re. standard content richness And format, through the use of digital tools (e.g. Qvidian)
o Promote use of differentiators eg tablets, Mini Website’s and infographics
• Jointly with and upon guidance from the sales team, help strengthen, coordinate and monitor SGSS coverage toward Key Clients and Prospects:
o Drive the local Account Planning exercise (annual reviews of coverage action plans for SGSS Top 100 Clients and Prospects);
o Collaborate with marketing and Sales to ensure the right attendees are invited to sales campaigns / conferences.
o Ensure data quality in the Customer Relationship Management tool to maximize invitees list accuracy hence campaigns’ effectiveness.
o Prepare briefing notes for Senior Management.
• Monitor the commercial activity thus contributing to its better steering:
o Produce weekly and monthly reporting to include NBI, pipeline, etc, pipeline, etc.), for circulation to the commercial teams, the Coverage Department management, and SGSS executive management;
o Contribute to the annual Sales Plan exercise and its mid-year follow-up by working alongside Sales to ensure deal input and data accuracy.
o Co-ordinate the deal flow process ensuring all deals are presented to the Deal Review committee and New Business Risk Committee. Track deal progress and ensure all key stakeholder assigned actions have been completed
• Support business development:
o Build, monitor and update prospect universes for UK Sales team. Assist Sales and Relationship Manager with call / meeting notes to ensure SGSS activity is documented and tracked.
o Contribute and update collaboration workstreams outlining the cooperation between SGSS and other business lines.
o Supervise sales’ training deployment to ensure appropriate skills’ development within the sales force.
Support sales teams and the Legal Department throughout the formalisation of the contract with our clients / prospects.
Due to activity seasonality, the Sales Facilitation Analyst might also be involved in ad hoc topics important for SGSS and requiring punctual reinforcement.
