Ihre Aufgaben

General tasks in settlement and custody:


• Processing, monitoring and reconciliation of securities settlement instructions

• Processing, monitoring and reconciliation of order executions

• Post trade management of registered bonds and promissory notes

• Monitoring of pending, failed and unmatched trades and executions

• Sourcing, processing and monitoring of Corporate Actions (Income + Non-Income)

• Management of client tax documentation

• Admission of securities to collective safe custody

• Close collaboration with global back-office departments

• React to all risk occurrences in a timely manner and escalate to the Head of Custody, Issuer and Settlement Services


Specific tasks:

• Active contribution to projects optimization

• Expert in respect of SWIFT formats and market requirements for Germany

• Contribution to client presentations, reporting and service reviews

• Representation of Head of CIS / CSS in case of absence

Ihr Profil

Experience and technical skills:


• University degree in economics or Finance or completed bank apprenticeship

• Several years of relevant experience in an investment banking /asset management environment 

• Good understanding of custodian and /or KVG business

• Affinity to in-depth analysis of accounting differences and detail-work

• Strong risk awareness

• Understand, adhere and abide to all procedures, processes and policies

• Profound understanding of all custody and asset services related procedures and respective market practices 

• Excellent MS-Office knowledge

• German and English proficiency; French is an advantage

The Securities Operations Officer is primarily responsible for the management of client tax documentation, the sourcing, processing and monitoring of corporate actions (Income + Non-Income), post trade matching and settlement for listed and physical securities and post trade confirmation/affirmation.
