Oversight (OVS) framework mainly focuses on:

  • Outsourced services (OS) supervision

  • Business continuity supervision

 Oversight function for Risk department of SG GSC, is embedded in a larger team of Operational Risks management acting for both local and regional teams within SG Group worldwide (Paris mainly, but also Asia, United States and UK..).

OVS is accountable for,

  • supervising the quality of monitoring of the OS portfolio, in liaison with the OS Correspondents: 

  • contract commitments are respected, KPIs are defined, provided, challenged, …

  • operational risks, …

  • supervising the OS contracts exhaustiveness and validity, in liaison with the OS Correspondents 

  • gathering OS contracts (SLA, WAG, MSA, Client Service Agreement, CSLA…)

  • Coordinating the post go-live stabilization missions, with the OS managers

  • ensuring that BIAs are consistent with department strategy and inter regions

  • consolidating results on BIAs, BCP testing, shutdown testing

  • gathering materials on BIAs and tests

  • providing a global vision of risk areas, following potential action plans. 

  • ensuring that crisis team are synchronized inter regions, in liaison with the ORM of the regions


  • Contribute to the preparation and animation of Oversight framework and oversight committee

  • Governance with global teams and various actors of OVS namely Business managers, OS correspondents, Business Continuity managers, operational risk teams (2nd line of Operational Risks / Audit or regulatory bodies, Level 2 controllers, Operational Security/Risks Managers), COO of regional departments and other entities of the group

  • Ensuring the animation and completeness of global process cartography and its updating including cartography of contracts and services for global regions and entities,

  • Develop global dashboard and tools for oversight monitoring; Oversight dashboard will include various components as part of Outsourced service monitoring including that of business continuity and BIAs, operational risk areas, KRIs, KPIs, incidents, audit and regulatory missions and recommendations, risk areas on HR, etc.

  • Continuous monitoring and reporting of regional performance to present a real time view of outsourced service performance and key areas of concern to the global management

  • Back-up within the whole operational risk team on local perimeter and global reportings.

Profile required

Profile Required:

  • 5-10+ years in outsourced service monitoring or operational risks / controller function

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of business continuity management

  • Thorough understanding of risk management framework and various risk related topics like incident management and reporting, regulatory compliance, audit missions, risk reporting, etc.

  • Good analytical skills, ability to evaluate and challenge data trends

  • Good understanding of outsourced service agreements and service monitoring/reporting

  • Excellent reporting skills including developing and usage of business tools and dashboards for management reporting (data visualization tools knowledge is an advantage)

  • Project management

  • Good influencing and negotiation skills 

  • Excellent team spirit and collective mindset 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to work with various business stakeholders at all levels

  • Sound communication and presentation skills

  • A mindset of continuous improvement and innovation

  • Business knowledge and understanding of Market and Credit risk is an added advantage (preferred not mandatory)
