Responsibilities

PPMO (Project & Portfolio Management Office)

  • Managing portfolio of projects including cost budgeting, planning and execution of programs
  • Assisting team in resolving business issues, coordinating with various stakeholders and ensuring timely closure of open action items
  • Providing both verbal and written communications regarding project status, risks and challenges
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks, alert Project managers
  • Preparation, analysis and presentation of monthly project reports to all GBSU business line Exco members
  • Keeping track of Project Budgets, Risks & Issues and reporting for Management dashboards.
  • Budget, Actual vs. Forecast, KPI Metrics & Data analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience on Project life cycle, candidate to Closure phase execution. 
  • Coaching and expertise on tools like HP PPM, Planisware & processes and best practices of Portfolio/Project Management to PMs and above.
  • Strong experience in Reporting (Excel, Tableau, Power-BI)
  • Should have good Knowledge of Agile methodology 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Working closely with all PM’s and provide Project Management support, Project progress follow up, Portfolio Management support (Project Pack)
  • Analyze the KPIs/ metrics and performance indicators and provide timely alerts to senior management/PM’s/TM’s
  • Tracking & monitoring the status of all projects as per defined procedures & guidelines
  • Implement & track progress on methodology, process, governance and tool usage
  • Facilitating project status meetings, governance and progress discussions to BL Exco’s
  • Support Compliance and Methods activities to be monitored during project life cycle.
  • Keeping track of project budgets, tracking costs and reporting
  • Facilitate / Conduct internal/global tool & process training
  • Provide the training on best practices of Program/ Project Management to PMs/TMs

Profile required

Experience: 5 - 8 yrs in project management office.
Mandatory skills: Program & Project management skills, understanding PMLC Methodology, MS Excel, Power BI

  • Mandatory Skills: Program & Project management skills, understanding PMLC Methodology, 
  • Technical skills: Power BI, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, excellent communication, stakeholder management, Reporting, (Prime, Planisware, VBA will be added advantage)
  • Require 3-5 yrs experience in working with senior managers/top management or COO office and onshore client management
