Responsibilities

1) POSITION OBJECTIVE

Review accounting closing
Responsible of the integrity of financial statements
Preparation and review of regulatory reports and ratios
Support statutory audit and tax filing
Finance control procedures
Be responsible for defining the SG Seoul DFIN target operating model and for designing the roadmap to reach this target

2) PRINCIPAL RESPONSABILITIES

Daily / Monthly /Quarterly Obligation

Completed monthly closing process
Resolve any defects in accounting platforms
Monitor company’s regulatory ratios
Preparation of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports including FSS and BOK
Perform accounting control framework
Provide financial information & performance results to the senior management and relevant business sections

Yearly and Occasional obligation

Fiscal year-end closing and corporate income tax return
Analysis of capital requirements
Set-up of accounting platform and processes for new products - prepare business requirements for accounting schema in line with IFRS & K-IFRS requirement
Coordinate annual audit by external accounting firm and regular audit by FSS / NTS
Perform necessary replies and actions for ad-hoc requests from head office and local regulatory

Profile required

Accounting knowledge with the certificate or job experience in finance division > 10 years
Sound functional knowledge of the products and process within a Finance division
Good understanding of banking regulation & regulatory reports
Strong analytical mindset.
Courage to propose fresh ideas. Pragmatic, solution driven approach.
Ability to adopt and lead organizational transformation.
Highly motivated and team oriented
Attentive to details and capable to maintain global view of the situation
Adaptive and fast to absorb domain knowledge
Good command of spoken and written English.
Strong PC skills, in particular MS office.
