Responsibilities

•    Act as a liaison between our 3rd party payable vendor and SG internal global team maximizing our give-in fee payments to Brokers.  
•    Ensuring timely collections of Brokerage.  Monitoring and reporting bad debt expense associated with aged receivable balances.
•    Increase the usage of automated payment platforms (CME Group – GPS & FIA Tech – Atlantis) to eliminate the need for manual billing.
•    Operations Management: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the brokerage, ensuring smooth functioning and efficient and documented processes
•    Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the brokerage's performance against goals and objectives.
•    Team Leadership: Building and leading a high-performing team within the brokerage. This involves hiring and developing talented professionals, setting performance goals, providing guidance and mentorship, and fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
•    Leads complex Brokerage projects and initiatives with members of the accounting/operational team(s). 
•    Build and develops strong working relationships externally to optimize efficiency within collections & payments.
•    Acts as the department liaison and point person for internal and external department audits
•    Design internal control procedures that ensure proper recording of financial positions and prevents material errors in accounting records. 
•    Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Profile required

•    Minimum 3-5 years brokerage payable/receivables experience at Manager level.
•    Exposure/knowledge/use of CME Group – GPS & FIA Tech – Atlantis
•    Experience with all futures and options products required, OTC product experience a plus. 
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
•    Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Accounting Standards (IAS).
•    Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
•    Strong understanding of financial and operational controls.
•    Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
