Use strong communication skills (verbal and written) to establish relationships with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs and understand client’s priorities of projects and requests. Assess client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting and managing changes) to prioritize business needs and recommend options, risks and cost vs. benefits. Present status of projects to the clients, propose arbitration and secures funding for projects. Use strong communication skills (verbal and written) to develop, write, and communicate business requirements for implementation of business solutions and procure technical assistance for problem resolution. Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and ensure development is done according to established requirements. Help to maintain priorities of tasks for the team and organize sprints. Develop test cases and validate test results during the testing phase. Organize demonstrations to ensure delivery is according to the user’s requirements. Investigate, resolve and escalate production problems. Conduct feasibility studies and draft proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers. Develop and assist in the presentation of business cases. Work closely with several teams across technology and operations to complete project needs. Support and participate in the formal reporting of project status, make decisions for releases and support and provide mentorship.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 5 years of professional experience working on a global trading floor at a global financial institution performing IT business analysis and project management within a Capital Markets trading and/or settlement systems. Must also have the following: 3 years of professional experience directly interfacing with business clients (front office, middle office and back office) to gather requirements and develop technical or user process solutions; 3 years of professional experience working with financial products (including Fixed Income, Equities, Futures and FX); 2 years of professional experience handling budgets and roadmaps, organizing sponsor meetings and producing project reports; 2 years of professional experience using Agile development methodology and software development lifecycle (including requirement gathering and analysis, planning, design, development, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance); 2 years of professional experience using trading technologies (including inter-dealer and client-to-dealer markets); any professional experience using Visio, XML, SQL, Jira, Deployit, and Linux; any professional experience liaising with multiple departments within the U.S. and abroad; any professional experience working with front office personnel (including networking, systems, quality insurance, support and other development teams) at a global financial institution.
