We are seeking to add a Senior Business Analyst to the Counterparty Credit Risk (“CCR”) team within FRM. Globally, GBSU/FRM/CCR team has about 200 members with 12 team members in the Americas region, split between New York and Montréal. Within the region our team supports the risk department (“RISQ”) with their monitoring and reporting of credit risk and counterparty credit risk exposures across all commercial financing and capital market operations. We support internal management reporting and monitoring, as well as external regulatory requirements.
Work as a business analyst on RISQ sponsored initiatives including the Secured Financing Stream of the global CCR Transformation Program
Work with internal clients (mainly RISQ, but also Finance and Data Management teams) to collect and analyze business requirements
Assess, review and understanding strengths and weaknesses in current business processes and recommends options, risks and cost vs. benefits
Works with business partners within across regions and functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
Demonstrates an informed knowledge of a several business areas and across assets to resolve problems on an ongoing basis
Responsible for the collection, analysis and documentation of a client's business requirements
Provides expertise and challenges the business, where necessary, on projects and requirements
Establishes relationship with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
Conducts data analysis and business process reviews
Coordinate projects or assist project/program managers with input on project plan tasks as well as identification and assessment of project risks
Work with the development team to ensure that they understand the specifications and the delivery correspond to business expectations
Work with users to define test scenarios and support testing to ensure the testing results meet requirement specifications
Ensure that issues are identified, tracked, reported on and addressed in a timely manner
Understand and apply production fundamentals and practices as a part of agile feature team
Provide input and insight to team members in design, development, documentation, testing and valuable expertise in building systems
Partner with application support/development teams in NY, Jersey City, and Montreal; as well as colleagues in Paris and Bangalore
Work with product owner and stakeholders to maintain priorities of tasks for the team, and organizes sprints
Conducts feasibility studies and drafts proposals for evaluation by stakeholders.
