ABOUT THE JOB:
The Global Technical Services organization (GTS) provides Infrastructure Engineering, Project Management and Administration for all staff and applications worldwide.
The Digital Workplace Services (DWS) Group is responsible for all services delivered to end-users like Desktop Services (Physical/virtual or mobile workstations, printing services), Unified communication services (Messaging, Phones, and meeting room conferencing solutions), collaboration services, user facing support functions and all associated technical services (collaborative tools, messaging, desktop engineering, security, technical directories) and all infrastructure services that support these services like User data management, IT directories and Multi-factor authentication, Packaging and software deployment services
What will be your DAY-TO-DAY?
The scope of mission is to provide Citrix services for Société Générale entities for the Americas and globally. This role requires the ability to explain & justify design decisions to IT peers and articulate the advantages and risks of alternative solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Citrix Xen App and Xen Desktop application virtualization to allow Windows applications to be accessed via individual devices.
- Serve as a Senior-level Citrix expert with both operational and design engineering responsibilities.
- Serve as a Senior-level Citrix expert for Operations, and projects from a global perspective.
- Work closely with both IT and business partners to design and implement solutions to support business needs.
- Responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex Application connection / performance issues.
- Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with production lifecycle methodology, risk & change management guidelines.
- Review and write Operational Procedure liaising with Global Paris counterparts.
- Escalate incidents at rights level; to Control-Towers, and / or Management when appropriate.
- Close and review incidents regularly to improve monitoring and reduce number of tickets.
- As a senior expert, provide mentoring to other team members within the department.
- Actively participate in architecture reviews/strategic development activities.
- Provide L3 support & application support for incident management
- Participate / Contribute to ON Call, work after-hours & potential weekends within a rotation with all members of the team within a flexible schedule.
Profile required
Skills and Qualifications:
Must Have:
- Administer / Support Citrix infrastructure (XenApp and XenDesktop 19.12).
- Administer / Support NetScaler (12.1)
- Administer / Support Ivanti End user workspace management.
- Windows Server 2012 / 2016 & 2019
- Windows 10 & Windows 11
- Active Directory, DNS), scripting PowerShell and Agile methodologies
- VMware and Virtualization VDI
- Automation skills/ Scripting skills in VBScript, CMD, Power Shell.
Nice to Have:
- ITIL is a plus (Incident, Problem, Request, Change Management)
- Deep technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task and manage operational and project related tasks / responsibilities.
Competencies:
- Several years of experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support.
- Ability to multi-task, act autonomously, and manage operational and project related tasks / responsibilities.
- Minimum 5+ Years (Senior) level 3 infrastructure support
- Minimum 5+ Years (Senior) Citrix infrastructure support.
- Minimum 2+ Years’ Scripting / PowerShell development.
- Minimum 3+ Years’ Windows Server 2012 & 2016 installation and support.
- Minimum 3+ Years’ XenDesktop installation and support.
