Responsibilities

Description of the Business Line or Department

The Credit Production team comprises a team of specialists responsible for the preparation of resilient and compliant credit documentation for a broad variety of credit products in accordance with pre-agreed credit proposals. The responsibilities of the team are everything post credit approval and include setting up account records, drawdown to record facilities, collating and submitting regulatory reporting, collecting all repayments due and performing oversight of relevant data records. The team is present only in Jersey, but its remit covers all KH locations including London, Guernsey, and Gibraltar

Summary of the key purposes of the role

  • Manage credit facilities through post approval life cycle including dealing with repayment of facilities and collateral releases
  • Work independently and as part of a team proving accurate facility documents in a timely manner.
  • As a member of the Credit Production Team contribute to a healthy working relationship between Front Office, Credit Risk and Credit Advisory and our partners in Infosys by promoting effective working relationships between the various functions.

Summary of responsibilities

  • Take end to end responsibility for a diverse case load
  • To interpret approved credit proposals and ensure all documentation is delivered to the client in a compliant manner ensuring the Credit Production Team meet with regulatory requirements, MCOB, MCD and CCA and Group policy in Middle Office activities.
  • Work with external advisors (lawyers and valuers) instructing and liaising with them as appropriate
  • Ensure credits are correctly set up on the system and managed through their life cycle
  • Deal with repayments and full and partial release of collateral as necessary
  • As part of the Credit Production Team contribute to BAU processing when required
  • Deal with general internal and external departmental correspondence
  • Assist with core controls, audit requests and reporting as required
  • To adhere and contribute to the Credit Production common guidelines, methodology and procedures manual (SOPS)
  • Such other ad hoc projects assigned by line management

Level of Autonomy and Authority

  • Document signatory for all entities
  • High level of autonomy on determining how facilities are documented within the Bank’s standard documents

  • Excel, Olympic, KYC and Credit policy.
  • JFSC /GFSC/ FCA MCOB/CCA regulations
