What are you applying for?

Our team oversees US based real-time Payment applications such as SWIFT, MONTRAN, ACH PLUS, directly connected to the Fedwire and CHIPS.

We are looking for a collaborator who can demonstrate initiative, learn quickly and is rigorous in his work.

One of the first challenges is to take an active part in the ISO20022 project (Payment messages format change). This is a worldwide project involving all financial institutions and big corporates, targeted for 2022.

What will be your day-to-day?

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Producing new features. This doesn’t only mean writing code, but also making design/architectural decisions, testing, tracking quality-related metrics, and producing documentation.
  • Demonstrating features to stakeholders and product owners to gain a solid understanding of the business and get feedback on work delivered.
  • Delivering software that meets our standards and providing operational support if necessary.
  • Helping the team to improve the CI/CD practices and automatize tasks
  • Taking some time to enjoy yourself by either joining some of our existing communities or by creating new ones.

Profile required

What you bring to our team:

The experience

  • You have 5 to 10 years of IT experience in complex information systems environments, preferably in payment/settlement area
  • You have previous experience with real-time interface design, database structures, and API calls.

The qualifications

  • You have the ability to work with complex information systems
  • You are fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • You have good knowledge of Agile practices
  • Organizational, methodological and analytical spirit
  • Collaborative mindset
  • You are willing to work occasionally overnight on duty

The technical skills

You have good working knowledge of the following:

  • Java programming
  • RDBMS (MSSQL & Oracle)
  • Linux, Windows

Bonus skills:

  • IBM MQ Series
  • API
  • Test-driven development (TDD)
  • Knowledge of Automated Testing Tool such as Selenium

The education:

  • University degree in computer science, DEC or equivalent technical Certifications
