Senior Programmer Analyst (FICC Derivatives/Interest Rate Swaps)

Responsible for Front office e-trading, trade capture, pricing, risk and market access technologies for FICC Derivatives and Interest Rates Swaps trading. Work with Traders, Sales and E-business professionals in the development and support of software in an AGILE environment for price/inventory publication, inquiry management and straight through processing of electronic trades. Use software to integrate external electronic trading systems and exchanges including Bloomberg, Tradeweb, BrokerTec, Trad-X, and MarketAxess. Develop strategic trading tool for dealer to client, and inter-dealer trading across various businesses. Enhance and maintain our big data reporting engine using MongoDB to set up architecture to provide full backup of data. Perform client and server-side development. Responsible for requirements gathering and design process, along with the business analysis utilizing finance and trading protocols. Follow requirements all the way to delivery while following agile, continuous delivery and change management processes.

Profile Required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience working on a global trading floor at a global financial institution performing Object-Oriented Programing including C#/VB.Net or Java to develop industrial front-office software focusing on a FICC Derivatives and/or Interest Rates Swaps trading environment. Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of experience performing agile and User Interface (UI) Development; 3 years of experience working on trading analytical tools and trading pricing libraries; 3 years of experience working with and producing trading models for Futures, Forwards, and Interest Rates Swaps; 3 years of experience using messaging technologies (RMDS, ultra-messaging and ICE middle-ware), and source control tools; 1 year of experience using MongoDB; 1 year of experience performing software integration with external electronic trading systems and exchanges (including Bloomberg, Tradeweb, BrokerTec, Trad-X, and MarketAxess); any experience liaising with multiple departments within the U.S. and abroad; any experience working with front office personnel (including networking, systems, quality insurance, support and other development teams) at a global financial institution.
