Responsibilities

Use strong communication (verbal and written) skills to monitor project execution (project plan, issue resolution and escalation) and provide close support to risk sponsors during the project life cycle and monitor project managers or risk officers responsible for providing business transformation and change management project activities. Responsible for the business process and organizational changes to provide support to senior management. Work closely with RMA (Risks on Market Activities), Front-Office, Operations, and Technology for Americas activities. Perform various studies (gap analysis, due diligence, impact analysis). Work closely with global RISQ/RMA project teams in the global transformation programs to implement new regulations rules or new Risk processes. Partner with the IT department in information systems projects that impact the RISQ/RMA department and lead the functional design, benefits analysis, UAT and change management. Responsible for transformation initiatives for the RISQ/RMA department (including process enhancement and information systems projects). Contribute to the RISQ/RMA global program by providing regional gap analysis, process review and impact assessment. Maintain the overall functional architecture of the RISQ/RMA department by ensuring that the various key risk and P&L processes are maintained consistently as various enhancements or projects are implemented. Propose staffing initiatives to enhance team spirit and common mindset with the team. Monitor permanent supervision control with recurrent controls and set up new ones. Lead budget monitoring and participate to the strategy definition and implementation.


Profile Required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Business Management or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience implementing feedback from regulators to develop and implement change management and business transformation project activities (including optimizing, streamlining (increasing efficiency and reducing costs), and increasing robustness (risk controls)) for production processes (front to back) and information and reporting systems at a global financial institution. Must also have the following: 2 years of professional experience preparing, proposing, and implementing regional change management and business transformation strategies after performing various studies (including gap analysis, due diligence, process review and impact analysis/assessment); 1 year of professional experience overseeing market risk activities across scope areas and ensuring that market risk exposures are managed by defining key risk assessment and stress testing methodologies; any professional experience in evaluating the performance of team members against pre-determined goals and objectives.
