Responsibilities

• Manage a Feature team from offshore
• Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
• Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
• Identify and develop trusted adviser relationship with project and program stakeholders, sponsors and management both in Bangalore and Paris
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Instill good Agile practices within the team and ensure check points to track implementation off key ceremonies, BDD, TDD etc
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives
• Manage stakeholders in Infrastructure teams, Technical Architects, Agile Coaches etc.
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
• Ensure that the team feels valued and supported and help them to achieve their personal ambitions keeping the program targets in mind
• Participate in hiring talented team members and upskilling in new technologies for the existing team
• Provide ongoing coaching and timely feedback. Participate in the performance appraisal discussions
• Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence

Profile Required

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering. MBA is a plus
• 12+ years of data management/ technology experience/ Business Analysis experience in Enterprise solutions, data warehousing, system integration in Banking Domain
• Experience in managing multiple complex projects in Investment Banking or Corporate Banking domain
• Experience in Credit Risk or Market Risk or Investment banking or regulatory reporting domain a big plus
• Experience in managing large teams with diverse and complex areas of accountability from offshore
• Experience of working with American or European counterparts
• Very good understand on Agile delivery practices
• Knowledge of enterprise data warehousing and technologies like Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle
• Experience with data management best practices, data governance, business architecture and BI
• Experience in managing expectations from Business users and understanding the Business processes
• Capacity to organize and manage multiple priorities and achieve results
• Should be comfortable in working in ambiguous situations
• Experience in presenting to operating committee members, boards and external forums
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to influence senior management, technical and functional experts
• Driven, confident, organized and accomplished problem solver
• Candidates with French spoken skills preferred
