Senior Python Developer-Hadoop & Ansible

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated Hadoop Infrastructure to assist with Technical Guidance & Architecture on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP), Hortonworks Data Platform (HDP), Hortonworks Data Flow (HDF) & Azure HDInsights
  • Contribution for CDP/HDP/HDF/HDInsight Cluster Planning, Architecture Design, Review, Validation & Performance Optimization at On-Prem & Cloud(Azure)
  • Contribution for CDP Security implementation with Kerberos, Knox, Ranger, KMS, etc.
  • Supporting team on Data Ingestion into existing CDP using HDF and other CDP components (Kafka, Storm, Spark, etc.)
  • Supporting team on Data Governance and Data Quality using CDP Components and Integration
  • Application Deployment, Data Ingestion, Data Storage & Data Access Authorization (Sqoop, PIG, Hive, HBase, etc.)
  • CDP/HDP/HDF/Azure Platform Administration and monitoring (Ganglia, Nagios, Splunk Dashboards etc) recommendations & implementation
  • Ensuring Availability and Reliability of Data & Analytics Systems
  • Assistance on Cluster Upgrade and Versioning; best practices (Rolling & Express Upgrades)
  • Disaster Recovery: Associated Architecture; Data Replication; RTO/RPO
  • Need to work with Customer’s functional teams for Hadoop design best practices as required
  • Contribute to new Product validation, implementation & Knowledge Transfer (KT)

Profile required

Role / Job Summary – Senior Bigdata Hadoop Administrator with knowledge on Ansible & Python

Years of Experience – > 10 Years (At least 6 years of relevant experience)

Skillset Level – Hadoop (+++), Ansible (+) and Python (+)
