Responsibilities

SG Zurich Branch (CIB) provides innovative financial solutions, advisory services and capital market products serving the needs of its corporate, institutional, and private clients. Present in Switzerland since 1927 SGCIB Zurich Branch offers local and cross-border expertise providing a full range of financial services to its clients with a particular focus on securities, services to foreign funds, trade finance and cash management services.

                Société Générale Global Transaction Banking (GTB) includes payment and cash management, cash clearing services, trade services, factoring and foreign exchange services associated to these activities. GTB integrates all the expertise and services required to facilitate the daily transactional activities of major economic and financial actors both in a domestic and international scope.

                The responsiveness and dynamism of our teams, their accurate knowledge of market trends and regulations, the strength of our networks and our diverse range of products allow us to optimize the daily management of the cash flow, the commercial and financial transactions for our corporate clients.

Mission: 

                As Senior Sales in Cash Management you will develop a portfolio of Large Corporate clients in Switzerland. You will report to the Head of Global Transaction Banking Switzerland.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develops Business with existing and prospect clients / Corporate Swiss clients and MNCs as per target NBI
  • Responsible from opportunity sourcing till full implementation of Cash mandates as per front-to-back approach, thanks to an in-depth knowledge of Cash solutions and ability to coordinate large scale projects
  • Maintains Sales portfolio data quality and constant update of deals in CRM
  • Monitors activity, advise clients to ensure client satisfaction and revenues growth
  • Thrives at making SG visible on the market locally
  • Cross-sells actively other GTB business lines – Trade Finance and Factoring

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Master’s degree in banking/finance
  • Experience in Transaction banking with at least one position as Front Office

Language skills:

  • Proficiency in both English and German
  • French or other foreign language skills would be an advantage

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Superior analytical and quantitative skills
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills for pitching. Comfortable and confident to speak / present to clients and SG senior management
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Pro-active team player
