Senior Sales Manager, Cash Management

Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks

  • Implement cash management sales activities to cover MNC, LC, FI’s portfolio in the north of China, including existing and potential pipelines.
  • Build up strong rapport with client’s senior contact, provide consultancy and market intelligence to clients, both for domestic cash management solutions and international cash management solutions.
  • Be in charge of both asset (working capital loans, overdrafts, etc) and liabilities (deposits).
  • Be ultimately responsible for KPIs, client relationships and internal counterpart relationships relating to designated portfolio.
  • Be senior and independent contact point for internal counterparts, including cash management teams across the world and in HQ, relationship managers and bankers, other product partners, internal supporting functions etc, in order to facilitate solution offering and implementation as well as internal cross-selling
  • Be ultimately responsible for overall cash management relationships with portfolio clients, including new opportunities both onshore and offshore, pipeline management, global account plan, client service quality, implementation, etc.

Profile required

Academic  Background (degree and major)

  • University graduate (Master graduate preferred) in the discipline of international trade, finance, business administration or economics

Working Experience /Technical Skills & Know how

  • At least 8 years of banking experience including at least 5 years as frontline, including cash management sales or relationship manager with decent cash management exposure and knowledge.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient liquidity management product knowledge
  • Client relationship management and client-centric mind-set
  • Strong business development skills
  • Credit knowledge is a strong plus
  • Relationship manager or trade sales knowledge is a plus

Language Skills

  • Mandarin, English

Job Summary / Job Purpose

Key member of Cash Management Department in Beijing branch to identify, explore, pitch and implement full range of cash and liquidity management products to develop onshore and offshore cash management businesses for both MNCs and Chinese Corp.  Monitoring and manage portfolio client’s feedbacks on overall cash management services, conduct cash management products/solutions marketing and promotion, provide consultancy to clients regarding cash management services. Proactively manage the defined operation, business and financial targets to the portfolio.
