Responsibilities

Job Summary

 

The person is accountable for the following activities of GTPS/ from Chennai. 

  • Accountable for setting up, managing and delivering the Correspondent Banking activities which includes Investigation, Reconciliation and Exotic currency operations from Chennai for Transaction Banking process for the group.

To begin with the operations would revolve around Asia and Europe and can later expand to cover the entire group’s transaction banking activities. The Individual activity’s leads/manages will report into the head of OPE/BAN. The Ope/BAN head would report to head of GTPS in SGGSC. Functionally report to the head of OPE/BAN in Paris.


Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the deliverables of GTPS/OPE/BAN from Chennai Location
  • Ramp up of the team
  • Team Management. (English and French speaking staff)
  • Multiple Stake holder Management (Counterparts, end users across the group, Internal Staff and Vendors)
  • Preparing for and anchoring the steering committee and operations committee


Reports To Head GTPS in GSC
Who are the Reportees Manager – Reconciliation, Manager Investigation, Manager Exotic Currency operations

 

Profile Required

 

Educational requirements Bachelor / Master Degree in Engineering or equivalent, Desirable:MBA
Certification required Good to have ITIL, PMP, Prince 2, CSM
Experience

Minimum 15 years in  Correspondent Banking Domain, with good level of  knowledge in Investigation, Reconciliation, Forex operations, Client interaction preferably with some experience in a captive environment;

Desirable: Knowledge of Sanctions and Embargos, Swift, Infrastructure
