Senior Structured Financial Portfolio Specialist

Responsibilities

Our current opening will be responsible for agency and portfolio management functions supporting Project Finance (Energy, Infrastructure, Metals and Mining), Leveraged Lending (LBO, Technology Media & Telecom Finance), Aircraft Finance, Commercial Real Estate and Export Finance business lines. Use strong communication skills (verbal and written) to in acting as primary point of contact on agented transactions for clients, participating lenders, legal counsel and other external advisors on the financings. Process amendments, waivers, and consent requests for assigned transactions, including preparation of credit applications and obtaining all required internal credit approvals. Manage preclosing and post-closing activities in cooperation with the front office and the back office ensuring proper administration of the Loans. Prepare periodic annual & quarterly credit reviews (including financial analysis) for assigned accounts. Responsible for credit monitoring and reporting including Watch List Triggers, Early Warning Indicators and Leveraged Lending. Work with Loan Sales & Trading/Syndications in sell-down of exposures and processing assignments by participants on agented transactions. Perform quarterly watch-list and provision reviews and presentations to local & global meetings. Prepare reports and responses to management inquiries on portfolios. Assume lead role in assigned projects and assist in internal and external audits and examinations. Manage events of defaults, restructuration of troubled credits and workouts. Prepare monthly and quarterly RWA analysis and reporting on all supported business lines ensuring efficient use of regulatory capital.

Profile required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or U.S. equivalent in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, or a related field, plus 10 years of professional experience working at a global financial institution performing agency and portfolio management (including supporting Project Finance and Leveraged Lending), financial and credit analysis (including generating annual, semi-annual, and quarterly credit reviews), administrative agency management, credit risk monitoring, client relationship support, and management reporting. Must also have the following: 10 years of professional experience processing amendments, waivers, and consent requests for structured financial transactions (including preparation of credit applications and obtaining internal credit approvals); 10 years of professional experience managing closing formalities and process for new project transactions and for facilities; 10 year of professional experience serving as primary point of contact on agented transactions for clients, participating lenders, legal counsel and external advisors on financings.
