Within the Trade Support Unit department, of Operations direction, the service Trade Capture (Transaction Modeling) is in charge of booking transactions in the information systems under delegation of the Front Office
Within Societe Generale, you will join the pole Global Banking & Investors Solutions (GBIS), in charge of activities of financing and investment banking, private banking, asset management and securities.
Our teams guarantee the quality and the reliability of transactions negotiated on all financial worldwide.
We are involved in different project types with different products:

  • Fixed Income: Trade over the world (follow the sun)
  • FI FOREX (FX CASH & FX option)
  • Fixed Income (Money Market)

In this context, and in close relationship with the Front Office and all Support functions (Middle-Office, Back-Office, Risk Department, Finance Department, Market Activity Indicators Department, Information Systems Department…), as a Trade Support Analyst you will be in charge of controlling trading activities for FX.

You must know and comply with the regulations, rules and procedures, internal and external applicable in the context of its function and follow the compulsory training.

On the daily basis, your main responsibilities will be:

  • The Trade maintenance by monitoring STP flows, resolving breaks, and Quality control of trading.
  • Ensure consistency of follow-the-sun process with global TSU counterparts
  • Working with trading and sales to ensure proper booking of trades
  • Coordinate with different actors to perform specific events (Quarterly IMM, Novation, NPV…)
  • Liaising with Back Office and other teams to investigate and resolve breaks.
  • Processing Deals lifecycle events on Forex activity (FX and FXO) and Money Market
  • Acting as proximity support for the MARK/FIC Sales and Trading Desks in New York in order to assist in urgent requests & incidents and lead resolution with remote teams

You’ll also take part to the projects and the transversal tasks of the service

  • Deal Control: enforce controls designed to make sure that executed trades are booked promptly and accurately.
  • Review lifecycle events on Forex and Forex Option activity
  • Ensure consistency of follow-the-sun process with global TSU counterparts.  
  • Keep all procedure manuals current and up to date.
  • Respond to requests for Audit and Compliance teams.
  • Responsible for correct static data maintenance.
  • Liaison between Front Office, Back Office, Product Control Group, IT teams globally in order to improve processes and be a facilitator for business activity increase.
  • Test system upgrades/enhancements.  
  • Ad Hoc assisting of the traders and salespersons.
  • Monitoring of the STP processes so that all trades flow to BO systems promptly.

Profile required

Must Have:

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income & Forex products
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a major in finance or financial markets
  • A first experience in financial markets is needed, in order to master the financial products and the processes
  • Deep knowledge and practical skills in Excel, VBA and financial mathematics


  • Strong interpersonal, communication and partnering skills. 
  • Ability to handle various ad-hoc requests in a dynamic environment.
  • Prone to take initiatives. Proactive and detail oriented.

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
