What You'll Do:

  • Build effective, strategic relationships with the business, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Actively develop sourcing strategies in support of business initiatives
  • Maintain vendor relationships including development of performance measures, administer supplier base and supplier classification
  • Provide supplier management and cost reduction solutions
  • Use experience and technological progress to find opportunities to optimize cost, improve service and deliver other efficiency opportunities

Who You Are & What Makes You Qualified:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management with emphasis on Procurement
  • 5+ years of Procurement or Category Management experience including strategic sourcing, negotiation, and contracting of services
  • Sourcing Practice, Process & Strategy Knowledge
  • Change & Improvement Management Skills
  • Commercial Acumen & Skills
  • Local Laws & Regulation Knowledge, comprehensive understanding of contractual terms and the ability to review and negotiate contracts
  • Market Insight
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills necessary to address executive level internal and external partners
  • Experience planning and leading negotiations
