Société Générale Americas Sourcing Department supports the overall goals of the Société Générale Global Sourcing Department in Paris of reducing and controlling SG’s cost structure and mitigating commercial and legal contractual risks within the United States. This role is responsible for evaluating business requirement, leveraging the market place for best available financial and service offerings, negotiate and execute contracts.
The Sourcing Generalist will be responsible for sourcing mid to low level business requirements across multiple categories of spend (HR, Real Estate, IT HW/SW, Services, Consulting etc….). The position requires a skilled, experienced sourcing professional with general knowledge of Industry and related practices, with excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills. A qualified candidate will possess a strong sourcing acumen and be capable of generally applying sourcing strategy and techniques across a variety of spend. Additionally, the individual is required to have experience collecting business requirements, testing the market, negotiating/drafting commercial and to some extent legal terms of an agreement and must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
