Responsibilities

  • Understanding Business Requirements, E2E Business Process and Ability to Analyze Requirements
  • Strictly follow the production process and the SLA are adhered to.
  • Ensure the continuity of the business by a strong relationship with the local helpdesk / support team, the infrastructure teams, and the Production Support teams
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files or other project documentation for testing statistics & Create/Maintain RTM
  • Prioritize the test areas most relevant to the associated application
  • Quick understanding of requirements and thorough analysis
  • Gather test scenarios and validate by cross-referencing with requirement documents
  • Ability to perform Impact Analysis on the new requirement on the existing test scenarios
  • Contribute to device a plan for Testing deliveries after assessing the Businesses criticality and corresponding Testing Risks involved
  • Contribute to Create an effective Testing Effort Estimation template for each Test deliverables
  • Prepare, execute and maintain the automation test scripts or test cases
  • Understand the Test plan, Review the test scripts
  • Ability to Design/Create Frameworks
  • Should be able to provide expert advice and participate in the leagues
  • Should be able to perform Test Automation POCs and suggest right tools Identify opportunities for improvement and Innovate[New Tools/Techiniques]
  • Apply latest techniques in testing application to eliminate manual errors
  • Improving test engagement by fine-tuning existing process or implementing advanced automation techniques
  • Ability to Use/Enhance existing automation Framework
  • Apply latest techniques in testing application to eliminate manual errors
  • Advanced knowledge on Agile Testing
  • Drive Agile ceremonies Understanding of Iterative model/Testing methodologies of SDLC
  • Manage the communication between the users and the technical / functional team
  • Drive the incident management calls and make sure
  • Make available the knowledge of the local activity by promoting and updating specific documentation
  • Contribute to transformation topics and deliver continuous improvements
  • Identify improvement areas and lead the automation of manual checks/tasks
  • Propose transformation of existing processes both for the business or our production services activities
  • Should be a self starter, having passion for technology and must be a quick leaner.        
  • Provide support to the junior team members
  • Participate in DR and BCP activities

Profile required

  • 4+ years of experience in Testing and Production Support preferably in Banking/Financials or in Capital Markets domain.
  • Atleaset 3+ Experience of working in UFT Test Automation with HP-ALM.
  • Understanding of Trade LifeCycle and Capital Market concepts.
  • Ready to work in shift timings (APAC and EMEA).
  • Ready to perform production support activity.
  • Expert in Unix shell scripts and Oracle SQL queries
  • Good knowledge on Autosys and ITRS Geneos
  • Knowledge on JIRA and JIRA Zephyr scale is added advantage.
  • Knowledge on Kubernetes is an added advantage.
  • Able to demonstrate the experience on Automation of manual tasks and checks
  • Creation and execution of Test Cases, User documentation
  • Understand and support team by analyzing requirements listed in the scope.
  • Knowledge on JMeter or any other Performance tool is an added advantage.
  • Should be able to provide L1/L2 UAT application support to users in UAT environment.
  • Should be able to to fix bugs in existing automation packs writted in UFT
