Specialist Software Engineer
Responsibilities
As an application Support Analyst, you will support the users of the Investment Banking Division on Regulatory platform . Among the ongoing day-to-day support of the Regulatory topics , your main responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure the continuity of the business by a strong relationship with the business users and external regulators
- Guarantee a high level of service & quality by industrializing the different processes and participating to the local and global projects and by communicating about it.
- Should have good exposure on OTC and different kind of regulations like EMIR , DFA , MIFID etc.
- Preferred to have knowledge on different taxation like FTT,FATCA , VOLCKER etc .
- Make available the knowledge of the local activity by promoting and updating specific documentation
- Take part to transversal initiatives across the business line
- Identify improvement axis and lead the automation of manual tasks
- Propose transformation of existing processes both for the business or our production services activities
Profile required
- Must have (at least 4 -6 years) L2 Application Support Experience
- Should have solid knowledge on Investment Banking - especially on Regulatory & Compliance perimeter) and proven hands on experience
- Should have worked on DevOps model and good exposure to agile methodologies.
- Preferred to have team handling experience.
- Good Knowledge on UNIX based environments along with scheduling tools like Autosys,Ctrl M etc.
- Solid exposure on writing SQL queries.
- Should have good understanding on ETL process
- Ready to work either in Asia Pacific or Europe time zones
- Self Starter, Believe in Team work, Take Ownership & Responsibility
- Able to demonstrate the experience on automation of manual tasks and checks (preferable)
- Preferred to have good understanding on scripting language like Python , Shell ,Perl
- ITIL Foundation V3 Certification (preferable)
