Specialist Software Engineer - Application Remediation
Responsibilities
Define and perform appropriate data transformations & store mechanisms on Alteryx platform - Create automated pipelines to pull data from various sources Analyze and organize raw data. - Build data systems and automated pipelines from various sources. - Evaluate business needs and objectives & derive data/KPI related requirements - Conduct complex data analysis and report on results with visualization & dashboards - Responsible to train/coach the business users on Alteryx - Define and document the alteryx workflow certification - Setup and lead Alteryx community - Define and implement best practices for Alteryx users - Responsible for Alteryx licence management - Perform POCs using alteryx - Showcase and demo new features of alteryx
Profile required
• 7+ years of overall experience in software development of which 3-5 years of the most recent experience should be in Alteryx. Prior experience in Java development would be required. • B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.S. in Computer Sciences and/or Information Technology with additional specialized education and training in Big Data technologies. - Sound knowledge of Alteryx designing, server, and tools like predictive, parsing, and transforms. - Experience with creating end-to-end workflows to be consumed by visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI). - Experience in end-to-end workflow design from a multitude of sources (databases, files, REST APIs, etc.) - Experience in creating reusable Alteryx workflow macros - Experience with Alteryx application development (Dynamic inputs, reporting tools, interface design) - Experience with gathering business requirements, implementing ETL best practices, and supporting issues in a timely manner - Experience in following proper SDLC practices in end-to-end workflow design in conjunction with end users - Working knowledge of Mongo DB to support Server/Gallery troubleshooting - Experience with Alteryx Server APIs - Ability to write and troubleshoot complex SQL queries originating from RDBMS systems - Experience in using cloud storage (Amazon S3, Scality, etc) - Alteryx certified professional (at least Alteryx advanced) - Keen learner & well informed on the most recent trends and developments in Data Engineering & adjacent field - Ability to engage and establish relationships with business users, peers and managers across different departments, geographies and time zones - Programming using VB/VBA, R, Python, RPA etc will be an added advantage - Hands-on experience in managing end-to-end customer surveys, data analysis and visualizations essential functions good communication and presentation
