Specialist Software Engineer - DevOps (Admin role)
Responsibilities
DevOps –
- Extensive knowledge on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience on creating Docker Image, Writing Docker files and containerize the application.
- Using Kubernetes for orchestration of the platform.
- Using Terraform to implement IAC (Infrastructure as code)
- Python development, writing API’s using python language.
- Cloud migration, migrating on-prem applications to cloud.
- Set Up CI/CD from scratch, using Jenkins pipelines.
- Knowledge on tools like Jenkins, Sonar, Jira, TeamCity and XLDeploy, maintain high availability of these tools.
- Static code analysis using tools like SonarQube.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions
- Improve functionality of existing systems.
- Integrating applications with third party web services.
- Very good Experience in Unix environment.
- Experience in Shell Scripting/Python Scripting.
- Good Debugging skills, to do proper RCA of any issues and stop the re-occurrence.
- Experience in GoLang is added advantage.
Profile required
7+ years of experience in IT industry with excellent technical leadership skills and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent hands-on skills on CI/CD tools and practices.
- Experience in working with transversal team, multi-cultural environment, and onshore-off shore model.
- Good Communication skills
- Cloud migration, migrating on prem applications to cloud.
- Docker, Kubernetes knowledge is mandatory.
- Good problem-solving skills.
