Specialist Software Engineer - Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Support agile practices of the team

• Train and coach team members on agile values, principles and practices.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies of the team • Facilitates all team meetings (daily stand-up, iteration planning, team demo, and iteration retrospective), goal-oriented, focused on iteration, quality, predictability, flows and velocity.

• Supports the Product Owner in his efforts and facilitates a healthy intra-team dynamic with respect to priorities and scope Coaches team members on their delivery • Ensure team members have all skills required.

• Coordinates with the chapter to offer hindsight in assessing the presence of required skills.

• He teaches problem-solving and encourages individuals to take responsibility for their actions.

• Help team manage personal conflicts Facilitate coordination with other teams.

• He is the representative for the communication and coordination with other teams, notably by sharing information, Although he handles the coordination, the responsibility is shared with all team members.

• He may handle a transversal coordination and reporting on behalf of a set of feature teams (cf. Light Sync)" Manage Feature Team Members.

• Set individuals’ objectives jointly with TM • Evaluate individuals in sync with PO, AgM, and League Leaders feedbacks jointly with TM

• Handles administrative management (holidays, business trips, …).

• Develop people (training, coaching) facilitating their career orientation and upskilling.

• Evaluate his Chapter’s workforce and organize recruitments jointly with TM.

• Allocate resources to FT, in sync with the AgM identifying needed skills and considering their evolution jointly with TM Industry or Internal certifications Internal certifications - either Project Management or Agile certification Good to have: Professional Scrum Master - 1 or SAFE certification " Possessing relevant technical or functional skills requisite for their core domain Good understanding of the application, domain and regulations related to the business. Hands on expertise on technical or functional side (Technical Leadership / Business Analysis) Strong analytical skills Should be able to manage budget, schedule, deliveries Strong analytical skills and quant skills - should be able to manage time, cost, scope, quality, communications, risk and stakeholders People Management Skills Should have good people management skills - ability to acquire and develop the team Strong communication skills Strong written and oral communication in English. Profile Required

  • 12 -15 years overall IT experience.
  • 4 - 6 years experience managing Agile teams/playing scrum master role.
  • Must have experience in leading development team and done atleast one large transformation programs
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery, Continuous delivery.
  • Java, Spring, Spring Boot knowledge
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Financial services experience with Payments & Cash Management
