Responsibilities

"GSC OPM handles the Operations Management for GBIS which includes the Monitoring of events & service request for the infrastructure & application by Production Operation team, Service management team responsible for the Incident, Problem & Change Management for GTS infrastructure, Technical tooling team handling the monitoring & Scheduling services for the operation management, Continuous improvement team takes in charge of the quality deliverables on the process to suggest improvements, automations within OPM & predictive maintenance projects (GSC/GTS) "

  • IT & Infrastructure Monitoring Specialist (SCOM) - Job Description

      Roles & Responsibilities

    The individual for this role will be a part of organization’s Operation Tooling team. He/She is required to provide expert level support on the SCOM. The mode of support will be 24/7 through FTS. (Follow the sun)

    SCOM knowledge:
  • Expert knowledge on SCOM architecture: SCOM administration/installation/Configuration
  • Perform administrative tasks, provide support for the SCOM platform
  • Installing SCOM agent, SCOM agent, configuration for Workgroup Servers, troubleshooting
  • Configuring custom based rules and monitors
  • Application support for SCOM platform - including addition/removal of servers, user access and monitoring notifications.
  • Migration, Upgrade and applying patches to SCOM console, agents and backend components.
  • Strong Windows Server admin skill & Knowledge of PowerShell and scripting

Experience:

Minimum 10 experience in infrastructure monitoring. ITIL Certification is a plus.
