STR Senior Officer

Main responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Accountable for STR team's production including but not limited to Working capital loan, Fixed asset loan, Syndication loan, Entrustment loan, overdraft, ensuring that customer’s transactions are performed in a timely and accurate manner, within service level agreement, in accordance with regulatory requirement, guidelines and bank’ procedures.
  • Obtain knowledge of local regulations, “3 measures 1 guidance” pertaining to loan drawdown supporting documents checking and compliance.
  • Produce regulatory reporting according to regulatory requirement within timeline.
  • Deliver professional and reliable service to internal and external customers with a sense of urgency.
  • Ensure that the bank’s policies, guidelines, control, regulatory and compliance requirements are strictly adhered to.
  • Review and ensure procedures are timely updated and created.
  • Assist team leader on continuous improvements in terms of innovative ideas and process optimization.
  • Assist team leader to Identify opportunities to automate/digitalize with the objective of creating capacity gain and/or reducing operational risk. Diffuse best practices.
  • Assist team leader to analyse impact to BAU for new products and requirements from business units, define workflow and set up procedures accordingly to ensure delivery.
  • Participate in projects in order to improve service and review process, in compliance with relevant regulations and in consideration with business changes. Assist team leader with change management for production deployment.
  • Ensure reliable operational risk management is in place and maintain strong control and secured environment in processing of transactions.

  • Experience of 3-5 years in banking operations preferably in Corporate loan, Overdraft and Entrustment loan.
  • Accurate knowledge with respect to local regulation, rules and practices
  • Past experiences on projects linked to process review and /or with various project team to contribute towards operational requirements, testing and Change management are preferred
