Responsibilities

Description of the Business Line or Department

GBSU/FTB/EUR is positioned as a Middle Office and responsible for the support of specific London based Front Office Divisions of GLBA (primarily AFI, IBD & NAT).

GBSU/FTB/EUR, London comprises a staff of c20 personnel and is structured as 3 Teams:

  • SMO/RM (Structured Finance Middle Office, Risk Management)
  • SMO/AOM (Structured Finance Middle Office, Agency & Operational Management)
  • SSM (Structured Solution and Mobility Finance Middle Office)

Summary of the key purposes of the role

GBSU/FTB/EUR SMO AOM

This is a Support Unit Team managing Credit and Operational Risk and Agency Functions across the various Business Lines of GLBA in London including:

  • Project Finance (Including Power, Metals and Mining, Oil & Gas, and Infrastructure)
  • Leverage Finance
  • TMT Finance
  • Strategic Acquisition Finance
  • Real Estate Finance

The key functions of the AOM role include (but are not limited to):

  • Loan Agency Management
  • Pre-closing to Post-closing Deal management
  • Deal validation into Loan IQ
  • Operational management of Deal Life Cycle Events
  • Payments review and follow up (incl. Invoicing/reinvoicing as required)

Data Quality follow up

Summary of responsibilities

The key functions of the AOM role include (but are not limited to):

  • Coordination, as Agent, between parties (incl. Borrowers, Pool Banks, Technical/Legal Advisors, Insurers, Valuers etc)
  • Organise and participate to, as Agent, as required, Pool Bank meetings etc…
  • Waiver & Amendment management from an Agency perspective
  • Liaising, as required with internal stakeholders; Front Office, Back Office, RISQ, Legal, Compliance, DFIN, etc.  
  • Closing coordination
  • Operational review of the Credit Application and Legal Documentation
  • Closing checklist management
  • Loan IQ validation
  • CP Management at DD and Conditions Subsequent follow up
  • Covenant validation (in CovTrack)
  • Prepayment / De-closing process management
  • Data Quality checks post-closing

Profile required
