Structured Products Application DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Provide timely support on software for Exotic and Volatility desks. Manage users’ requests and production incidents while providing regular feedback to end users
  • Pro-actively monitor production systems and work on monitoring development
  • Lead investigations and troubleshoot to resolve problems collectively or independently. Formalise problems and escalates to the next level of escalation as needed
  • Work with end users to understand business requirements, and translate them into detailed stories
  • Develop solutions to achieve application sustainability, focus on quality and reusability of the code produced

Profile required

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, software engineering
  • Must Have knowledge on UNIX and SQL. Skill on Java, C#, Python is an advantage 
  • Have knowledge and experience on incident troubleshooting and solution developments
  • Have good understanding of financial market sensitivities and obligations 
  • Willing to learn quickly, work under pressure directly with the desk and peers
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English is mandatory

Department Description
In 2020 the technology department started an ambitious project to cover the requirements of the financial engineers, sales, traders and middle office.

As part of the Global Business Service Unit team, we work hand in hand with the software developers, project managers, and users to design, develop, and ensure the stability of global strategic solution for the Structured Product business line.
